Alejandro Escovedo Performs “The Last to Know”

I would have called the song “More Miles Than Money,” which is a killer phrase and which provides the emotional center of the song when it appears after that rising chord. But, wow. What a masterpiece by the great Alejandro Escovedo of Austin, Texas. Biographical note: His older brother Pete played with Santana, and Pete’s daughter is Sheila E, who played with Prince.
