Poem: "Days Upon the Precipice"
1.
There is no one blinder
Than he who will not see
That love isn’t always love
In ecosystems of unease.
2.
I tried to be Henry Miller but failed!
Divided against myself,
Torn asunder by principle.
It’s madness, but it is what it is.
3.
Oh, those days upon the precipice
When we counted among the lucky few,
So free to leap together
Into a waking dream.
