Corbu As Palate Cleanser

After seeing all that Renaissance and Baroque art and architecture in Venice it was refreshing to visit the Pavillon Le Corbusier in Zurich. Commissioned as an exhibition space, this, the last work of the great Swiss architect, was recently renovated and refurbished and reopened in May. It was fun and bracing to consider the angles, proportions, and colors stripped of all the religious and metaphorical detailing. Or do I mean baggage?
