Poem: My Spirituality

My spirituality is implicit,

Or maybe elicit.

You see, I never wanted to see

Christ up there on that cross.

That's 'cause I'm not convinced

That it's all just good news.

True, he was the stand up guy

To end all stand up guys,

But I'm still not sure 

That martyrdom

Is the way to go.
