Poem: Things To See and Do in South Beach
First of all parking garages
Be not ashamed perceive
Aesthetic intention
*
The vibe the vibe the
Wellness and decadence
Down there on the sidewalk
*
Blessed lassitude you better
Change your attitude better let
The waves get behind your eyeballs
*
Club beats or Cuban effervescence
Or Luna chugging soaring
*
Hard to say what half the people are saying
No barrier to the exchange of goods
I get what I need and you do too
*
Birthed in preservation
And glistening modes pride
Provenance a shifting allegiance
*
Progress blocked our view of the past
Precisely what we bargained for
Be not of heavy mind my friend just be
*
To be nearly weightless
To be borne up like a baby
Glorious primordial salt water soup
