My New Poetry Collection!

Be on the lookout for When the Leaves Fell Unceasing, which has just shipped! Will be available for purchase in the near future at Amazon and, hopefully, here. My poems tend to be diverse in style and subject matter, so I divided the book into six sections: How It Is, In My Life, Spirit World, Mind Maps, Dedications, and Short & Random. I think there about 80 poems in all, and all of them, in my humble opinion, are accessible. I really dislike poetry that presents itself as a wall of cryptic imagery and obscure language. I guess my goal is accessible but resonant. In other words, the poem doesn't present a single meaning, but rather sets off associations and questions in the mind of the reader. How well they succeed in that way is hard for me to say, but I have been told by trusted readers that they do hit this sweet spot on occasion. I guess that when I am writing, I like there to be some mystery even for me. I like it if I don't aways understand precisely the implications of what I just wrote. But enough explaining for now! The beautiful artwork on the cover is by my friend, the Swiss artist Judith Trepp. Thank you, Judith!
