The Ghost of Electricity

"The ghost of electricity howls in the bones of her face." This is the line from Dylan's "Visions of Johanna" that keeps repeating mantra-like in my mind. I have no idea what it means, but it rules. Bob must have written it riding a wave of amphetamines, weed, and holy inspiration. It's from Blonde on Blonde, the time of his mid-60s peak, before he had to stoop to things like experience, knowledge, and craft to create his art. The early muse is always evanescent. OK, that's all I've got. Please return to what you were doing.
